Thought of the week:
It is time to end glorification of struggle. Working hard is not the way to go, especially for women. Take time, slow yourself down and FEEL what your really want to be in this life. Busy being busy is just a trauma response and trying to fit into what this corporate and financial world wants you to be will not bring peace and happiness. What it will bring is anxiety and the never ending hamster wheel.
Start with 10 min meditation in the morning, keep going every day for a month and report back to me how do you feel!
Current Morning routine:
oral care, skincare, 10-15 min meditation, watching YT videos from different creators on the topics that interest me currently 45 min, journaling or music (if I feel like it)
Midday:
training for 1 hour + walking (optional). Meditation if I feel like it.
Current evening routine:
oral care extended version, removal of the SPF, skincare, reading, all devices off an hour before bed.
Biggest improvement:
I feel super enlightened this week. Feeling of floating.
Ditching social media has been life changing, I still have my accounts and I peak in like once a week. I have lost interest in other peoples lives, I’m focusing on my own.
Exercise:
6/7 = had 6 one hour exercises this week + walking + riding a city bike
The aim is to be active at least 1 hour per day, whether it is walking, low intensity training or something more active.
Continued to cycle syncing, this makes training a breeze.
Face:
medium intensity acid peel + micro needle session 2 weeks ago have already produced amazing results. Skin is so glowy. I continue with my usual daily face care minus the acids for 1 more week (AHAs, BHAs). Mild lactic acid I will still use in the evenings after double cleanse and before serums.
Continue to use SPF 50 daily all over face 365 days per year (or when UV index is over 2)
Hair:
Introduced 3 new product to my haircare routine. These I use after washing only:
Matrix Miracle Creator multi tasking leave in treatment
Goldwell Ultra Volume Intense Root Lift spray
Senscience true hue colour protecting treatment capsules
I will report back how these product are in a couple of weeks!
Body:
Skin is feeling really silky and smooth. I continue to use a firming contour cream after every shower. I definitely have seen improvements in the firmness of the skin but it has taken a while (approximately a month or so)
I added a full range of The Ritual of Ayurveda, I absolutely love the scent of the body product for fall and winter season. They make me feel so good and expensive. Also added teh home diffuser which smells fantastic.
I feel that inflammation is really down from the exercise + food + supplements.
Continue to use SPF 50 daily all over body.
Oral Health:
My gums have never been as healthy as now! The water flosser is amazing!
Supplements:
Continued vitamin D 2000 IU and fish oil for my skin. Bought Prefemin 20 mg for PMS, this is a lifesaver. For anti inflammatory purposes I take turmeric + black pepper supplement.
Otherwise I’m minimal with the supplements.
Sleep:
7 nights of great sleep. Managed to sleep the latest by 11 pm every night and wake without an alarm around 6-6.30 am.
Feeling overall:
Excellent
Measurements:
(I don’t weigh myself as that is not accurate and fluctuates because of the cycle and other variables)
Minus 5 cm this week overall body.
Mind fog:
None
Mood:
My mood has been really good all week.
Wardrobe:
Added 2 elegant and colour coordinated training outfits to my collection. I usually go for adidas by Stella McCartney sets but did not like any ones that where available. I really do not like sports stores so in order to avoid the ordeal I accidentally found cute and colour coordinated sets in H&M.
Whereas my attitude towards fast fashion is the same: I want quality not quantity with clothes and brands like H&M, Mango, Zara are far from quality. I like crisp seams. Only items that I would consider from fast fast in is high heels form Zara or Mango, they have excellent quality.
I have tested out the outfits and I’m really impressed with the quality and comfort. Let’s see how long these will last.
One more note, I consider leggings only for trainings. Leggings are not pants and they do not belong to airports, malls nor are they made for running errands. I love looking cute during my training but otherwise leggings are not elegant.
Skincare:
Will start with tretinoin soon as the package with the creams arrives.
Beauty products added:
I have been very impressed with Chanel beauty product lately, so this one is new in:
Poudre Lumiere highlighter in Warm Gold 20
Really beautiful package and the product is so elegant and fine. Leave a really expensive glow! So far I’m happy, let’s see how much I’ll use it.
Things that I do not consume at the moment:
- Caffeine (produces anxiety)
- Alcohol (depressant. It also disturbs your sleep patters. As getting good sleep is the highest priority on my Level Up list I have excluded even small amounts of alcohol)
- Raw Dairy (produces inflammation)

had a hairdresser appointment, lots of new baby hair growing. The product I used in Jan-March really helped!
