Self-care is an essential part of our daily lives that is often neglected.

But it should not be so as this is the part of the lives that actually lift your self-awareness and spirits up! But what is self-care?

Self-care is the act of engaging in activities to gain and maintain the best level of overall health.

We will be focusing on 5 main areas of self-care today and I’m also sharing some examples:

  • Setting boundaries 
  • Setting your standards and sticking to them…

✔️ Social self-care: Having a supportive group and network of relationships around you that you can trust and turn to.
  • Asking for help when you need it
  • Expanding your social circle

✔️ Spiritual self-care: Having beliefs and values that are important to you and guide your life.
  • Daily Affirmations
  • Meditating
  • Reflecting in a journal
  • Writing down things that you are grateful for
